Can Nielsen Really Have Only 60 DVRs in its Panel???

If this is actually true, I'll never apologize for Nielsen Media again.

Nielsen has about 60 DVR households in its sample of about 10,000 homes and plans to add about 100 DVR homes a month.

A $70 billion industry makes decisions off that. Wait, it's more that $70 billion -- that's just ads. Programming decisions rely on the ratings too! Sheesh, we had 550 DVR households in our last survey. And Jupiter's data folks won't let us do research with an N of less than 100. (Todd's working on a short report on viewing habits that should be interesting.)

I hope that figure 60 is a typo.
