Jeff Zucker's Real Challenge

I just don't buy this analysis of what NBC Universal soon-to-be CEO Jeff Zucker's biggest challenge is:

    The most urgent questions facing Mr. Zucker relate to the digital revolution now roiling the media marketplace...The challenges facing Mr. Zucker have little to do with the current state of NBC, which, some detractors notwithstanding, is mainly solid across almost all of its divisions.

The digital opportunity is fast-moving, but nascent. New platforms will go from about 1% of TV & filmed entertainment dollars to 2% in 2011. Now's the time to experiment. But NBC's broadcast ratings went from first to worst under Zucker, and that's where some real money is.
