Last week it was reported that the incident was caused by “a steering problem” Today Princess Cruises announced the incident was caused by human error. In a statement, the company’s President says, “We want to unequivocally emphasize that we would never operate an unsafe ship”. The unspoken inverse: We want to unequivocally emphasize that did allow unsafe personnel to operate an otherwise safe ship. The incident has demonstrated how quickly bloggers opine.
