Check out TripIt<< U.S. travelers sue British Airways in mishandled luggage case | Main | Funship Island >> Diane Clarkson | September 19, 2007, 01:42 PM Here's something cool: TripIt is an online master travel itinerary. Basically, you forward your confirmation emails regardless of where you booked and TripIt incorporates them into a master itinerary. Here's what I like about TripIt: * All your travel itineraries are in one place. This is * Content is personalized to include useful information such as * You can share itineraries easily on TripIt, which is a lot * The information can be sent via mobile or stored in a calendar * Itineraries can be saved so it's easier to recommend or avoid a hotel, which is particularly useful for me as I can recall a complete inventory of the mini-bar, draw a floor plan of the foyer, name each bellhop but cannot remember the hotel's name I often see travel websites that are re-creating something that already exists. TripIt centers on a new service and builds content and collaboration around what is a unique and convenient service for travelers. TripIt was a finalist at the TechCrunch40 conference in San Francisco yesterday. It's worth checking out the site. |
