Today is a banner day. A US Airways pilot accidentally shot his cockpit when his gun discharged mid-flight, a Texas woman is calling for a civil rights investigation into the forced removal of her nipple ring prior to boarding a flight, and U.S. safety investigators are trying to find out why the panel from the wing of a US Airways jetliner fell off in flight over Maryland last week.
