ESP Consolidation Continues, Accucast Acquired

Premiere Global Services has acquired Accucast. This is good move for both companies. Premiere Global needed to bolster its email offering and Accucast will benefit from the broader sales and marketing resources that Premiere Global brings to the table. With both companies located in Atlanta, it should make for a rather seamless transition, which should remove the typical M&A distractions that often impact these businesses.

Accucast has a strong on premise offering that has proven to be a solid platform for its 200 clients. I would expect Premiere Global to focus their efforts on the hosted piece of the Accucast offering, which should replace the company’s current offering.
