A little while back I noticed Steve Ballmer had borrowed my line about Google. I wasn't angry, of course -- it's flattering, really. Apparently, he's been at it again. According to Battelle, Ballmer called Google a "one-trick pony" last week. It's a line I've been using for the past year or so. (And lest there be any confusion about my thoughts on the issue, I'll say it one more time: yes, they're a one-trick pony, but my goodness it's a good trick.) Again, Steve, I'm flattered. But maybe this time you can buy me a beer to say thanks? |
