They are already surging forward with DSL2+ and cable, and soon with VDSL2, fibre and cable's DOCSIS3 too: "President of Telefonica, Julio Linares, forecast that by 2010 more than 60 per cent of Spanish homes should have a broadband connection of up to 50Mb, this will require an estimated investment of around E 4 billion." |
