Been reading a lot of the debates about the future of RSS and issues going forwrd. I have a lot more to say but in brief, this is the type of fragmentation that will slow the adoption of Webogs by mainstream users. Enterprises don't care about RSS version whatever or Echo. They want syndication. If the developers don't come to terms soon, they risk losing a lot of the gains over the last few years as Microsoft or IBM or someone bigger than all of them will come in with a protocol that servers their needs and that will become the standard. Fragmentation is bad for standards and now is the time to come together om something.
