But things start to change when the computer is the hub for connectivity and not the viewing portal. For example 51% of consumers are interested in using the PC to record and store TV programs... as long as they can view the content on their TV sets. Closing the loop with the ability to stream content from the PC to other devices and take it on the road as well is the key to digital ubiquity going forward. Of course, that's going to take a lot of effort so that the experience with DRM isn't a nightmare for consumers and that content is still protected.
