IDG to launch iPodworld Magazine...

Oh boy.. How very last century. Enjoy it while you can, this won't be around very long but does show the power of Apple's position in the marketplace at the moment with the iPod. Magazines that are this vertical simply can't compete in this day and age. Frankly, I'll keep reading iPodLounge and Engadget for my daily fix of information and comments. I suspect most of you will as well.

Oh jeez, IDG— what are you thinking? An entire paper-based magazine devoted to the iPod? According to MacMinute, IDG, who has over 300 publications, is adding an iPod magazine to the stable. It’ll be out in August, in the magazine isle next to AlpacaWorld.
