Is MCE 2K5 enough?

The good folks over at PVRblog make a good point. The vision that Microsoft has is complete and articulate. Can they market this VERY complex story to consumers is another issue. Also, remember that consumers don't need to buy into the vision all at once. The enthusiasts that bought into MCE years ago will be the ones buying extenders and portable media centers. The key is that MCE is now good enough to be used by the mass markets as a CE device that can give standalone devices a real run for the money over the next few years...

I must admit, with MCE 2005, Microsoft does have an entire digital lifestyle, end-to-end solution. My only worry is whether or not the market exists for such a device, as it seems people are only slowly adopting each new technology and aside from a few gadget freaks like myself, few would be able to take advantage of every available option in the new release.
