Yearly Doom and Gloom Article about Apple, Right on schedule!<< Adam Curry wants podcasts on his phone. | Main | Back on the road >> Michael Gartenberg | December 30, 2004, 11:25 AM I was correct that it's that time of year. John Dvorak writes a column about the "crisis" at Apple. Dori Smith rebuts him. Long time readers know that John does this at least once a year. I think it's mostly to annoy Mac users and get them to come after him. Here's one of my favorites of his from 2002, when he suggested that the Macintosh be "put down like an old dog". Years ago, when MacUser was a popular Macintosh pub, John was the "anti-editor", whose job was to play devils advocate to the Apple faithful. Looks like he still likes that role and it still gets him publicity. Of course Apple bashing at the moment seems just a little silly. |
