So far, fourth flight of the year and fourth time Continental didn't have my fruit plate even after I confirmed it at ticket purchase and check in. I hate flying. I hate Continental. I'd switch to another airline but no one seems to be much better. I'm a platinum elite member and service for that is pretty much on par what regular status was a decade ago. Regular status is pretty much the equivalent of the service afforded to a piece of cargo. Add to my list of oxymorons, Airline Service. I fly on average a 100k miles a year. All i ever ask for is a bulkhead aisle seat to accommodate my 6'4" frame and a fruit plate. I rarely get either and never get both.
