A longhorn delay? Really? Does anyone outside of Redmond really care about Longhorn at this point? of course, I could argue that it's hard for something to be delayed that hasn't really been announced. At this point, we know for certain that Longhorn is the "codename" (I love MSFT codenames) for the next release of the Windows client. Everything else is pretty murky and at this point maybe it's time to change Longhorn's name as well.

This morning, over RSS from ActiveWin, I saw a link to a story about a possible delay in Longhorn's release. Apparently, the story is in response to rumors of a Longhorn delay. So far, I see nothing to suggest that Longhorn won't ship next year. [Microsoft Monitor]
