Old Friends and weblogs

Scoble talks about finding old friends via weblogs. I was going to post the same thing today. I found a weblog last night that talked about whether to blog or not and offered some nice perspective "The only difference between writing about your work and home life is that if you blog about your friends and family you might end up losing a friend or even your spouse instead of just your job!"

It was only after reading the site for a bit that I realized the author was an old friend, now living far away. Sometimes it's nice to catch up even virtually.
