Seattle PI Experiences on Podcasting<< Will Apple "own" Podcasts? | Main | Thomas Hawk on TiVo's earnings >> Michael Gartenberg | May 27, 2005, 10:32 AM Brian Chin talks about some of the issues in Podcasting over at the Seattle PI. We've found a lot of the same issues here as well. While recording is fairly easy, the material still needs to be edited to make it something worth listening. If you want your stuff to be interesting, you need a little music which isn't as easy to come by as you might think (despite what some well known podcasters do, you can't just take any song or score and use it your stuff legally). Fortunately, we have some good in house talent in the guise of my colleague David Daniels who has taken on the huge task of editing, scoring and overall making our stuff sound good. It's still way too hard. And if you think audio is hard, try video. |
