MSN Didn't Hijack my browser, My ThinkPad did<< PalmOne Updates the Treo 650 | Main | TV Shows for Your PSP >> Michael Gartenberg | June 17, 2005, 05:21 PM After lots of digging and a clue pointed to me by Microsoft's PSS, I finally figured out what was re-setting my browser. The ThinkPad's rather nice access utility has a little setting buried deep in it to allow configurations of the home page based on location. When I first set up the computer, it automatically created that location based on what the default was at the time, namely the MSN homepage. Going in and manually turning off that setting and re-setting the reg key fixed the problem. |
