The 3mm difference

As I was lying on the floor at Sea-Tac airport last Thu night figuring out whether to head for home or the ER there was a thought that occurred to me. The cause of all my issues was something likely the size of about 3mm. The thickness of a grain of sand. One of the things that's being missed in consumer electronics these days by those who are losing is ignoring the 3mm difference between a great product and one that's just mediocre. I spent the last fifteen minutes of my discussion at Mobius, talking with other attendees about what quantifies carressability. We didn't get to a total answer (but got off to a good start) but I know for certain that the dividing line, is probably a total of 3mm big.
