Vizrea opens the door to contextual flow

Good article in the Seattle Times about Vizrea which is launching live today. I've had the fun of following these guys for a while and can now talk about them. They've got a really good story. Thomas Hawk looks at them as a Flickr competitor but that's only seeing part of the picture. Remember, the CEO, Mike Toutonghi, is an ex-Microsoft guy who led the team responsible for the eHome goup and Windows Media Center PCs. That should tell you more about what this stuff might be capable of in the future. Think of this as one of the fist contextual flow applications in the market. Photos make for a good place to keep initial focus but there's a lot more things this type of platform can be used for in the future.
