Back in NY in time for the blizzard<< Shuffling the iPod line | Main | Meet the digital dad >> Michael Gartenberg | February 10, 2006, 01:57 PM Had a great week in Seattle. Met with a few different companies and lots of really super smart folks. While there's an awful lot to tell, there's not a single conversation or meeting I had that I can talk about here just yet. That should start to change over the next two weeks. What I can say is there's going to be a lot of stuff happening soon. If you look at the calendar, you know there's 3GSM next week in Barcelona, there's CeBit in early March and CTIA in April so think along those lines. It's also getting time for a new CPT build of Vista if memory serves correct. Mobility in particular, will be very interesting this spring with some new devices coming to market in the near term. Look for paradigms to start shifting Travel was particularly miserable. I woke up yesterday morning with a note from Continental telling me my 8am flight back to NY was going to be delayed four hours. That's a little odd, so I called over and found out there were mechanical issues. That's a nice euphemism for "this plane's not going to take off… ever". Thus started a fun morning trying to get on a flight that would get me in sometime before next week. Made it home in the end just in time to catch this blizzard of the season due to hit over the weekend. It was sunny and in the mid 50s most of the week in Seattle. *sigh* |
