Totally agree but it does make you wonder why they made the purchase. Does Google really consider MSFT the comepetition and if they do are they really going to go after them at their strongest points, namely desktop OS and Office apps? I'm still not sure I understand the market for this type of app and how, if ever you monetize it. Overall, good news for the Writely folks, but this isn't going to affect Office in any meaningful way. |
