Putting the camera in the camera phone to work

One of the things we've seen consistently in our research is that consumers just don't use the pictures on their camera phones for anything other than wallpaper for the most part. I've been looking at some of the new services and applications that are trying to change that behavior. These include SplashBlog (now owned by SixApart), Vizrea and Shozu. They all take a different approach to the problem, but for the most part, they allow users to quickly get photos from their phone to the web with no effort. To work with each service, I'm using the Nokia Series 60 version of each client app along with the best camera phone on the market to date, the Nokia N90. I'll be reporting on how well they all work over the next few weeks as I go out on the road again.

Update - scanR looks interesting as well but no client for Series 60.
