I personally agree with John Robb, and don't like the "river of news" style. For me, Newsgator integrated into Outlook, where I can see a single list of all my feeds, sorted by feed and then by date works best. That way I can quickly see what's newest in each feed, quickly read and scan the stuff I want and still browse the archive. Feeds are different than newspapers. If I miss yesterday's paper, I don't want to read it today but often do want to read everything I've missed from some folks even if I haven't kept up. What do you like? This is something we will be looking at closely in terms of user preference and adoption. |
