Nike+iPod FUD is just silly

There's report that's been going around about the Nike+iPod integration and that it causes some kind of security risk. This is of course, just silly. I'm not questioning the research. But I am pointing out that just about every device that puts out some sort of radio signal can be tracked by some type of equipment. I don't see anyone putting out a report saying bluetooth headset users are somehow at risk for stalking. If you're going to be carrying a radio, and that radio is on and broadcasting someone, somewhere is going to be able to pick up on that signal. It doesn't mean your house is about to be burglarized nor does it mean that you're going to be stalked. Of course if you do a study that says that you will, you might get a few headlines and perhaps that's what this was really all about.
