Podcasts for Feature Phones?

I was a little skeptical about the notion of using a Java client to stream podcasts to plain old feature phones. But I tried using Melodeo and it works. I’ve tried on both Sony Ericsson and Motorola phones using T-Mobile’s EDGE network and I was amazed at how well it worked.

The catalog of content could be a bit deeper and there’s no way to add your own podcasts. Of course, most phones are lousy for listening to audio content but with the right phone, this is a killer app.
