Westinghouse Digital Rocks 1080p<< Google is the Internet? I could see how you might think so | Main | A wired writer who won't do an email interview >> Michael Gartenberg | April 24, 2007, 01:36 PM Had a really cool meeting with Westinghouse Digital today. Interesting that in a few years, they've become fourth in displays. They've also got some very slick screens coming out but the best part is that in addition to four (yep, four) HDMI ports, you also get full 1080p across all other ports including component and VGA. Excellent! Price points for 56" LCD is going to be around $2499. The whole setup they had got me thinking about the role of displays in the home. Think about how many screens you had in your parents house. Now think about all the screens you have in your home. Don't forget to include things like cell phone and iPod displays. Start counting and you'll be amazed at the number you come up with. |
