Much Ado About... very little

The Times picks up the "fuss" about Google's street view and issues about privacy. Unfortunately, this isn't an issue of privacy at all. The law apparently is quite clear than anyone can take pictures of anything on public property. You might not like it and but this is a total non-issue. My friend Thomas Hawk has talked about thus a lot and has had more than his share of hassles taking pictures in public places.
