Sync iTunes with other MP3 Players

I've been looking for a way to sync my iTunes playlists with non-Apple devices for some time. There's a kludgey way to do it using the Zune desktop to import the iTunes stuff and then renaming the Zune playlists so they work with Windows Media Player but that's a pain to do and it can potentially corrupt data. The easier way is to use iTunes Sync, a cool little free program that works wonderfully. This should be a core part of Windows Media Player.
