They're about to do some pretty cool stuff un the future which I can't talk about at the moment but the stuff they're doing right now is excellent. What blogging did for writers, these folks are doing for podcasting and aspiring talk radio hosts. They're also attracting a lot of big names doing shows. Today, they had Senator McCain on for example. I kind of like the democratization of the live format. So much stuff on the Internet has moved to away from live to time and place shifted, which is great. There are, however, things to be gained with interacting in a dialogue in real time and that's just what these folks are doing. Best part, the interface for most folks into creating and participating in the dialogue is the good old telephone, Excellent! While most folks won't be able get Larry King's gig, this is a great forum for folks with something to say and who want to interact with a live audience and do it as easily as setting up a weblog (perhaps easier). Definitely a company to watch. |
