Still not twittering

I'm still not using Twitter. While the concept has matured nicely, it's still not something I'm willing to invest time in for the following reasons.

1. First, it's another queue to check. As it is I have work email, personal email, and a full complement of RSS feeds flowing in. I have no desire to add to this. It looks like I could add Twitter into the flow of RSS feeds but do I really want to do that? Seems like that is going to change to the flow of information perhaps in some ways for the better but also add a lot of clutter?

2. It's another place to post to. I already have this blog for thoughts and Facebook for short posts (that are Twitter like) that might be of interest to my social network.

3. I have already invested time and effort into Facebook and LinkedIn, do I really want (or have the time) to start adding another one.

I am definitely missing out on some good information flow but until I can figure out a way to get this type of micro-blogging into my existing work/information flow, I'll opt out for now. Besides, I want to wait to see what Google does with Jaiku or is Google the place where social networking applications go to die.
