The Bloggers of CES 2008<< CES and Celebrities, Has this ever worked? | Main | Sony's new Rolly and MYLO II - Defining Niche CE devices >> Michael Gartenberg | January 06, 2008, 04:31 PM Seems to be another "bloggers and journalists issue" at CES this year. Not sure why the folks at CEA needed to do this. Of course, those who have been going to CES for a while know that for a long time unless you were an accredited journalist who could show printed bylines or an analyst, you weren't getting into the show. Last year was the first time bloggers were allowed in easily, although I know of folks who were turned away. In any event, it's always fun to see how many of my favorite bloggers are covering CES and it's fun to see the show through their eyes. I love how folks differentiate themselves in terms of coverage and the different perspectives and exclusives each one has. There's a CES bloggers community on Facebook as well. For me, the best overall and most comprehensive reporting still comes from the Engadget team. They once again are providing the best coverage of the show and the best live blogging of the all the keynotes. Kudos to Ryan Block and his hard working team for keeping those of us not at the show in the loop. It's just like being there, minus the cab lines and overpriced hotel rooms. Any other bloggers I should be reading? |
