This is big news and a blow to the HD-DVD folks but this doesn't mean that either format will win the hearts and minds of consumers. Perhaps if this happened a year ago, it would have been a knockout blow, now I'm not so sure. As we've written in the past, there's good chance consumers simply ignore both formats and sit this one out. |
