Read David Card's blog for an authoritative run down on Yahoo Music's US launch yesterday.
I am told that a European version of the subscription service is on the cards, but that no specific dates or timing are yet available. If Yahoo can bring a similarly competitive introductory pricing model to Europe, it will certainly add significant weight to the European subscription market, and of course apply significant pressure on Napster.

Yahoo Music currently pulls close to 4 million vistors in Europe so it has a significant addressable market that could help Yahoo become a major player.
