When is a License not a License?<< Midem Round Up | Main | Qtrax Update >> Mark Mulligan | January 28, 2008, 10:25 AM Apparently when it’s a Qtrax license. There are reports that Warner, Universal and EMI have claimed that deals have not been struck with Qtrax despite its claims. Is this just a case of Qtrax playing their hand early so that it could coincide with MidemNet (which they were sponsoring) or is something else at play? I’ve left a few voicemails and emails with various vested interests so I’ll hopefully have an update soon. Watch this space. |
