Three major record labels are said to be signed up and the move is part of a bid by Google to unseat incumbent market leader search provider Baidu. Just as this news hits the wires, the IFPI announce that three major record labels have commenced legal action against Baidu for failing to take down links to sites that contained illegal copies of music tracks.
