Are marketers connecting the dots? According to this yearly Super Bowl search ad report card from agency reprisemedia, they are doing a better job of it, but still have some scope for improvement. Auto marketers especially have done a poor job of integrating search with TV ads, says the article.
It is something that we at Jupiter are thinking about as well. In our 2006 search marketer survey, only 14% of search marketers integrated offline campaigns with online. Our search marketer survey currently being fielded for 2007 poses questions on this, as well as new emerging trends as well.
