Blog With Us<< Breakfast with Gary & Eric | Main | Cookie Grumbling >> David Schatsky | March 11, 2005, 01:15 PM As you might know, we're into blogging here. We were the first analyst firm to embrace the medium and remain the only firm with a team of analysts who blog as part of their fulltime jobs. We've had a lot of success with them. We have many tens of thousands of readers a day and most analysts have a Google page rank of seven, which is pretty good. But there are other ways of engaging. Instead of comments, we're looking for some people to blog with us. Our research is rooted in analysis and interpretation of our proprietary data. But there are often multiple ways to interpret the data. By inviting outside, informed perspectives on our research, we might just create some new knowledge together. That will be good for the industry. So we're inviting you to join us in a dialogue. It's going to start in Michael Gartenberg's areas of coverage for now. Look at our site and check out the Personal Technologies and Access research area section. Pick a report and tell me why you might offer a different or complementary view that's worthy. If you can make a compelling argument, we'll send you the full report, (the stuff that people pay us for) and you can feel free to comment on what we've written. We'll link directly to you and comment back. Engage in a dialogue. Get some more folks chatting as well. We'll start with a few folks in a few spaces first and see how it goes. That's just the beginning though. It's going to get even more interesting a little further down the road. An important caveat: The report is for you alone and not to be published, distributed or re-posted anywhere without our permission. You can quote from parts of it in context (less than one paragraph) but no graphics or the like can be re-produced. Have fun. I'm looking forward to hearing from you. |
