The Mother of all Glitches?

There has been lots of media and blog buzz about the Mac mini and what its real value is compared to low-cost PCs, or what it would really cost if the user configured it the way he or she wanted. A Mac mini configured with the features I would want costs $903.

CompUSA has the most interesting twist on the whole cost debate, in what I'm sure has to be because of a database glitch--and a big one. The Website lists the Mac mini--that's either of the no-frills, base models--for, get this, $1,220.50. Quite the bargain without keyboard, mouse or monitor (please add degree of sarcasm that suits your taste). I found the mistaken price after doing several searches or from the list of Macs page. Here's an example of the mistaken pricing; since it might get fixed, I've provided a screen capture for posterity.

Update: Friday morning, a friend called from our local CompUSA, where iLife and iWork were on the shelf for $122 each.
