More Apple Authorized Dealers than Ever

In recent months, I’ve noticed more Apple authorized retail outlets opening across Montreal. For several years, I’d been visiting one far-flung location in the city with a wide range of stock. However, my options are much broader these days. Shops have opened in major shopping and tourist areas, and carry pretty much any product or accessory I could want.

I’m impressed. Retailers are taking chances renting space and dedicating shelves to more and more Mac products. The popularity of the iPod is even driving consumer awareness – regardless how naive it is. A friend called me yesterday and told me the shop where she bought her Nano carried ‘those screen and drive all in one thingies from Mac’ (she was referring to the iMac G5). While she couldn’t name it, she was certainly impressed that someone in the mall would carry it. Alongside her Nano.
