Signs of the End of Western Civilization, Part CCC
From a PR email: "We’d love to see a post of it on your site for feature and/or preview. The show could best be described as “The Darwin Awards meets Faces of Death,” telling the true stories of actual deaths and recreating them through awesome comic-book style graphics, acting, CGI,...( more )

imeem Takes on Yahoo and AOL
Social music site imeem have been placed as the number one US music-streaming service in the US, ahead of Yahoo and AOL. The rankings aren’t from either of the main measurement companies (Comscore and Nielsen) so will doubtlessly be contradicted / challenged by other rankings. Also the difference between imeem...( more )

Mobile Internet for dummies
Brought to my attention via MobHappy, an interesting blog from Russell Buckley and Carlo Longino. Russell (in charge of European operations at Admob) has just been elected Chairman of the Mobile Marketing Association for EMEA (in replacement of Richard Saggers from Vodafone). Congrats and good luck to him....( more )

MVNOs better than their hosts?
According to the J.D. Power and Associates 2008 UK Mobile Telephone Customer Satisfaction Study released recently, Tesco Mobile ranks highest in customer satisfaction with pre-pay mobile telephone service for the first time, while Virgin Mobile ranks highest among contract mobile phone customers for a second consecutive year. There are obvioulsy...( more )
